Figeľ hospitalised but well

Ján Figeľ, European Union negotiator and state secretary with the Foreign Ministry, was hospitalised on January 11. He underwent an operation for an abscess on his neck in Bratislava's Ružinov hospital. The ministry's diplomatic department said the operation was successful and that Figeľ would be released from hospital shortly.
