A Recent poll carried out by the Statistics Office's Public Opinion Research Institute showed 32.9 per cent popular support for the biggest opposition party Movement for a Democratic Slovakia. Non-parliamentary Smer enjoys 13 per cent, followed by Hungarian Coalition Party with 11.3 per cent, Christian Democrats with 8.8 percent, and SDKÚ with 7.2 per cent. Democratic Left cabinet party would not make it to parliament scoring 3.8 percent.
