The Interior Minister has declared war on drunk-driving police after officer Ján J., 26, killed a father of three yesterday in Brezno. The officer's blood alcohol level was 1.94. His regional boss said Ján J. was prepared to resign. Statistics show that in 2001 drunk police caused one car accident every week.
