Industial production down

THE NOVEMBER figures for the growth of Slovak industrial production - 2.6 per cent year-on-year - are the lowest in over 22 months.

Based on the Statistics Office's findings, analysts say that Slovak industrial production is beginning to mirror the development style of EU countries.

The November negative growth of industrial production in the Eurozone stood at 2.7 per cent year-on-year and 1.4 per cent month-on-month.

The EU is the final destination for 60 per cent of Slovak exports and analysts say that if its economy does not revive Slovakia cannot hope for any significant growth in its industrial production.

Píšem or pišám?
