Schmognerová to be recalled

The Democratic Left Party's (SDĽ) republican council will vote today to remove Brigita Schmognerová from her post as Finance Minister. The council will also announce her replacement - current Labour Minister Peter Magvaši is most widely tipped candidate.

Slovenská sporitelňa's dealer, Juraj Zbadal, said that Schmognerová's recall should have no considerable impact on the long term trend of strengthening the country's currency.
