Nato security tasks met by office

THE HEAD of the National Security Office (NBÚ), Ján Mojžiš, has said the office will be able to fulfil all tasks related to the country's Nato integration ambitions with its budget of Sk300 million. The office, which is responsible for examining the backgrounds of people with access to classified iunformation, received the supplementary funding after parliamentarians gave it too little money in the 2002 state budget draft.
