HZDS holds strong poll lead

ACCORDING to the last poll conducted by the Statistics Office, if parliamentary elections were held in January, the HZDS main opposition party would receive the support of 32.9 per cent of voters, followed by the non-parliamentary party Smer with 13 per cent.

The SMK Hungarian coalition party received the strongest support of all parties in the current government coalition with 11.3 per cent, followed by the Christian Democrats (KDH) with 8.8 per cent and the SDKÚ party of Prime Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda with 7.2 percent.
