Slovakia: Western "production hall"?

IF SLOVAKIA becomes an European Union (EU) member, in 2015 it will be a "production hall" of western firms, with prices equal to those in the West but with a GDP of only 57 per cent of the EU's average, say the authors of a development study forecasting the situation in Slovakia in 2015.
