Although Finance Minister Brigita Schmognerová has resigned from her post, an eponymous beer named Brigita, produced by the domestic Topvar brewery, is to stay on the market. “The beer has gained a wide following, particularly among people fond of lighter beers,” said Topvar marketing director Jozef Nemec. “We’re certainly not going to be making a František beer,” he added, referring to Schmognerová’s replacement, František Hajnovič.
