Punch opens new production line

Belgian electronics firm Punch has opened a new production facility in an industrial park in the north-eastern vicinity of Námestovo on an investment of 17 million euros; the facility will employ 500 people, and could attract other Swedish and French firms to assist in Punch’s production of Grundig, Sony and Xerox machines, said Economy Minister Ľubomír Harach.
