Industrial production data reflect global slowdown

December industrial production in Slovakia fell 0.7 per cent from the same month a year before, with analysts predicting a global economic downturn was only now finding its way through to the Slovak economy. Industrial production in 2001 grew 4.6 per cent after 9.2 per cent growth in 2000.
