New executive on Istrobanka supervisory board

Rudolf Janac of Slovenská Poisťovňa became the new chairman of the supervisory board of Istrobanka after a special shareholders meeting. He is a representative of the major Istrobanka shareholder - Slovenska Poisťovňa, the largest Slovak commercial insurer, which holds a 72% stake in Istrobanka. Bratislava mayor Jozef Moravčik was elected vice-chairman of the supervisory board at the same meeting.

The new supervisory board also accepted the decisions of Edita Bukovská, Jana Krivosudská and Juraj Trnovský to resign from their posts as members of Istrobanka's board of directors.

The supervisory board of Istrobanka has 15 members. In addition to its newly-elected representatives, it includes a representative of Erste Bank AG and representatives of Istrobanka employees.
