State carrier drops rates to meet competition

State airline Slovenské aerolínie has announced it is slashing rates on its Bratislava to Košice link by almost 60 per cent, from Sk2,390 to Sk900, for ‘last minute’ buyers; the move comes a week after a cut rate airline opened flights for Sk990 on the same route.
