Reader feedback: Cheers to Brigita

Dear Editor,

This looks good ["Schmögnerová goes to Geneva", Flash News (Internet edition), February 28, 2002]. The fact Schmögnerová has been chosen executive secretary of the UN's European Economic Commission is not just a recognition of the capabilities of Brigita Schmögnerová, but also of what individuals Slovakia is capable of producing.

I congratulate Brigita on her new post and every time I see her name quoted (assuming it's positive news) I, as a Slovak, will feel as proud as the Czechs must have felt when Mrs Albright was quoted.

Good luck Brigita!
