More shoes, more jobs

AUSTRIAN footwear producer Shoe Fashion Group AG plans to expand production capacities of the former shoemaking giant JAS Bardejov. It has invested one million euro and employed 70 people to date. During this year it plans to expand production and increase the labour force to 180-200 people. The Bardejov plant will manufacture 800 to 1,000 pairs of shoes daily, company president Joseph Lorenz said.
