Labour Code to be amended, not changed

The cabinet has decided that an expert working group will complete a rewrite of a flawed Labour Code amendment, rather than put back the April 1 effective date as earlier planned. The amendment, which bans part time work and puts stringent caps on overtime, has been fiercely opposed by employers.
