S & L crash linked to suicide

THE DAILY paper Národná Obroda reported that a 58-year-old retired man in Piešťany committed suicide shortly after watching a TV interview in which the head of a savings and loan fund announced its closure. The man had his life's savings, Sk900,000, invested in the Drukos fund, the paper reports.
