Retail sales up 9.8%, wages 9.3% in Aug.

Slovak retail sales rose by a real 9.8% year-on-year compared with 12.1 percent in August, the Slovak Statistical Bureau (äŕSR) said in a statement released on November 5. Slovak industrial output rose by a real 6.9% year-on-year compared with 9.1% in August. Slovak nominal industrial wages rose by a nominal 9.3% year-on-year in the January to September period compared with 9.4% in January to August.
