Slovak September CPI up 0.4 pct mo/mo, 5.9 pct yr/yr

Slovak consumer inflation was 0.4% in September compared with minus 0.2% in August, putting year-on-year inflation up to 5.9% from 5.7, the statistical office said on October 9. The biggest increases were seen in alcohol and tobacco products (up 11.8% year-on-year) and goods and services (11.4%). The lowest rises occured in transportation (0.6%) household energy (3%) and healthcare (3.8%).
