Slovak August jobless rate declines to 13.76%

Slovakia's unemployment rate fell to 13.76% in August from 14.1% in July, the National Labour Office said on September 21. The total number of people ouot of work stood at 385,041 in August, down from 388,541 the month before but way up on the 332,828 of August 1997.
