GDP leaps 6.1% year-on-year

According to preliminary data supplied by the Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic (ŠÚSR), the GDP for the first six months of this year reached 347.8 billion Sk ($9.94 billion). Compared to the same period last year, this figure is 6.1% higher in constant prices. The greatest impact on GDP growth on the side of supply, according to ŠÚSR, came from an increase in production in agriculture, industry, construction and market and non-market services.
