Cabinet approves SPP sale

The government approved the sale of a 49 per cent stake in gas utility SPP to a consortium of investors for $2.7 billion. The only dissenting vote of the 18 ballots cast was that of Pavol Koncoš, leader of the former communist SDĽ party.
