Budget deficit soars to 8.9 billion Sk

The Slovak 1998 state budget showed a fiscal deficit of 8.937 billion crowns ($257.1 million) at the end of July, up from 3.868 billion crowns at the end of June, the Finance Ministry said on August 4.
