Museums and Galleries

* Museum of Non-European cultures is devoted to primitive African art from the collection housed in the Slovak National Museum, as well as from private collections. Come and see the munumental busts of ancient African kings carved from the extremely rare iron wood. Open Tues. - Sun., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Žišková 18.
* Mirbach Palace- City Gallery focuses on permanent and special exhibitions of European art such as: central European paintings and sculptures from the 17th and 18th centuries, or paintings and sculpture from the late 19th century.
