Producer prices up 0.7% mo/mo, 4.0% yr/yr in January

The Slovak producer price index (PPI) increased by 0.7 percent in January, up from 0.1 percent last December, putting the annual rate at 4.0 percent versus 4.4 percent in December, the Slovak Statistical Office (ŠÚSR) said in a statement on February 24. In January 1997, the PPI was 1.2 on a monthly basis and 6.1 annually.
