January inflation 1.9% mo/mo, 7.2% yr/yr

Slovak consumer prices rose 1.9 percent in January, putting the year-on-year rate up to 7.2 percent from 6.4 percent in December, the Slovak Statistical Office (ŠÚSR) announced February 9. Last December, inflation was only 0.5 percent.
