Survey says 65 percent of Slovaks want EU

A Eurobarometer survey measuring attitudes to the EU in candidate countries has found that 65 per cent of Slovak respondents would vote in favour of EU entry if a referendum were held today, while 11 per cent would be against. Fully 87 per cent of Slovaks know that the country is applying for EU membership, while 9 per cent have never heard about it.
