HZDS calls raid "political terror"

THE HZDS party has protested a police Swat team search of a car carrying four HZDS officials. The police, who stopped a Toyota Landcruiser on March 23 and searched the vehicle at gun point for drugs and weapons, have apologised, saying the raid was not politically motivated. However, HZDS member Peter Novotný called the police behaviour "political terror and racism" and said "today I am more prepared than the dissidents of the 1970s and 1980s to suffer."
