Car sales fall in 1Q02

Sales of passenger cars and small trucks fell eight per cent in the first quarter of 2002 from the same period last year from 15,594 vehicles to 14,366. The Czech brand Skoda led the way with 43.9 per cent market share, followed by the French Renault and Peugeot.
