Jukos takes over stake in Transpetrol

As of April 29 the Russian oil firm Jukos is a 49 per cent shareholder in Slovak pipelines firm Transpetrol, with control of the board of directors and changed company statutes. Jukos had signed a contract for the stake, which it won with a bid of $74 million, on January 29.
