Real IRA trio fess up to Slovak operation

Three members of the Irish terrorist group The Real IRA have confessed in a London court to have been trying to buy weapons in Slovakia when they were arrested by British MI5 secret service agents in Piešťany last summer. Michael McDonald, Fintan O’Farrell and Declan Rafferty were snared by the agents, who pretended to be Iraqis selling detonators and rocket-propelled grenades.
