Slovakia less attractive

Slovakia and the Czech Republic experienced the largest decline in attractiveness of all Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries over the last year, according to a poll by the Wall Street Journal Europe. Slovakia ranked tenth (seventh in 1996), and the Czech Republic fourth (first in 1996) in this year's ranking of CEE countries based on various criteria such as economic growth, price stability, level of world integration, and monetary stability.
