EXIM Bank started on July 1

The EXIM Bank, created on the basis of the former Export Credit Insurance Corporation (SPE), launched its operations on July 1. The bank is supposed to help reverse the suffering trade balance. The cabinet on June 17 appointed František Orolin, the current vice-president of the IRB Bank, to be the bank's governor. The deputy governors were named Ján Ježo (former SPE's General Director) and Zuzana Trandžíková (former Devín banka's Deputy Director).
