Technopol to start operate new radio net

Technopol Inc., Bratislava, announced that by the end of September 1997 it will start commercial operations of its public radio net of a trunking type, the first of its kind in Slovakia, in the Bratislava and Nitra regions. In the first phase, the company will invest 20 million Sk to the net. Technopol obtained a license for it from the Telecommunications Ministry in April 1997, and it is the only company with such license in Slovakia.
