Real estate market financing will be the main theme of the Central European Real Estate Associations Network's (CEREAN) fourth annual conference, to take place at the Veletržní Palác in Prague October 28-30.
The conference will include sessions on sources and methods of financing, the roles of the state, banks, and funds, and country reports on Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria. Terézia Straková, the director of Realitná Spoločnosť VÚB in Bratislava, is scheduled to give the report on Slovakia. Organizer Jan Boruvka expects attendance to approach that of last year's conference in Budapest, which attracted 400 participants, including about 15 from Slovakia. The deadline for early registration discounts is June 30.
