April inflation rate is 0.5%

The year-to-year inflation rate in Slovakia was 6.5 percent in April 1997, 0.5 percent higher compared to March 1997, according to figures released by the Slovak Statistical Bureau. The highest annual increase was seen in education prices (11.2%).
