Toyota may build plant in Slovakia

The Japanese carmaker Toyota may build a new assembly plant in eastern Slovakia, Finance Minister Sergej Kozlík said. "Prime Minister Vladim'r Mečiar submitted to Toyota a study of an assembly plant in Slovakia, and Toyota indicated that it plans further expansion and is interested in central Europe," Kozlík said after he and the premier returned from a recent trip to Japan.
