Dante's peak* - A scientist (Pierce Brosman) paranoid yet fascinated with volcanos saves a small town from an active volcano, which ruins everything in its path. Directed by Roger Donaldson, the only real plus of this film are the special effects in which Hollywood shows off it's high-tech computer animation. Also stars Linda Hamilton. (Rozpútané peklo)

Extreme Measures*- Gene Hackman and Hugh Grant star in Michael Apted's dark drama about a young doctor (Grant) who discovers the truth about secret experiments conducted by a famous professor Hackman). By publishing his discovery he risks not only his career, but predictably his life as well. (Smrtiaca liečba).

Devil's Own* - Brad Pitt is a young Irish terrorist on the run from ruthless assasins. He finds asylum in the home of a New York cop, Harrison Ford. All hell breaks loose the moment the cop discovers the truth about the young Irishmen in this action thriller directed by Alan J. Pakula.(Anjel s dvoma tvárami).

Surviving Picasso*- Director James Ivory and screenplay writer Ruth Prawer Jbabvala (Howard's End, A Room with a View) get together again making another subtle love story. The story follows the romantic relationship between a great Spanish artist (Anthony Hopkins) and his mistress Francoise (Natasha McElhone). (Picasso:Tvorca a Ničiteľ).

The Ghost and the darkness* - The year is 1896, a railway camp in East Africa becomes a camp of death. Man-eating lions hunt and kill a couple hundred people. Two men (Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer) hunt them down. Though sappy there are enough surprises to keep you on the edge of your seat. (Lovci levov)

The Empire strikes back* - The second and best of the Star Wars trilogy is brought back digitally enhanced with updated visual effects. (Impťrium vracia)

Long Kiss Goodnight*- Gina Davis is a house wife who recovers her lost memory becoming a deadly assasin. Also stars Samuel L. Jackson. (Dlhý bozk na dobrú noc)
