"It is one of our goals this year to reach out beyond Slovakia's borders," said Ľubomír Kopecky, general director of the TMM facility, which houses the fair.

"In Leipzig they are organizing a similar fashion show, and they want to make a presentation here,"Kopecky continued. "In return, we will be able to present our activities in Lepzig." Another seminar, called Certification of Textile and Clothing Products, also will be held on March 25, and organized by the Slovak Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association of Textile and Clothing Industry, and VÚTCH Chemitex, s.r.o.

The aim of the seminar is to provide producers, exporters and importers of textile and clothes with information on export possibilities to EU and CIS countries. Also highlighted will be the latest pending legislation and laws for imports regarding product certification.

Also organized as an accompanying event will be the Evening of Fashion on March 25 at the Dom armády in Trenčín, with presentations by Slovak textile giants Merina Trenčín, Ozeta Trenčín and OP Prostejov.
