POSS ADDS - New Austrian -Slovak joint-venture for cement and construction materials exists

Baumit Hirocem Ltd., Roho_n'k, is a joint venture established by Hirocem Inc., Roho_n'k (a Slovak cement producer) and a leading producer of construction materials in Austria, Wopfinger Stein und Kalwerke Schmid & Co. (each owning 50 percent). Investments into the joint venture plant, which has an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of construction materials, reached 270 million Sk. The joint venture combines the expertise of the Austrian company and the quality raw materials of the Slovak partner. A portion of production will be exported to the Czech Republic and Austria.
