Trade support fund approved

The government approved the Fund for Foreign Trade Support on October 15. Next year, the government and the Association of Employers will each allot 500 million Sk to the fund, which will finance participation in fairs and seminars, aid in the development of Slovakia trade representations abroad, and support information databases. After that, the fund's main income will come from Slovak importers and exporters (0.1 percent their turnover) and by the government (in a 1:1 ratio).
