Tesla Inc, a producer of condensers and electronic parts in Stará Ĺubovňa, continues to fight for survival following the events of 1989, when it lost its Eastern European customers. In its continual search to find new customers, the firm partially recovered when it landed a contract with the Japanese company Panasonic to produce circuits for consumer electronics. Production began in May, and Panasonic has offered a positive evaluation of Tesla's production quality. Despite this contract, the company continues to suffer from unused capacities of plastic and metal presses, as well as high debt incurred from the past.
