Čarnogurský blasts committee draft on EU, NATO integration

Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) Chairman Ján Čarnogurský called "nonfunctional" a draft drawn up by Dušan Slobodník, the chairman of the parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, declaring Slovakia's continued interest in EU and NATO membership. "We do not need a memorandum," he stressed, "[rather] our domestic politics must change."
