Romanian, Hungarian parties wrangle over details

The Party of Romanian National Unity (PUNR), the junior government coalition partner, said in a press release that it opposed any reference to Recommendation 1201 in the basic treaty, Radio Bucharest reported on August 14. PUNR said the treaty should be put to a referendum on November 3, when presidential and parliamentary elections are scheduled.
