Minister receives hockey stick

VISITNG Czech Defence Minister Jaroslav Tvrdík was excited to receive an unusual gift from his Slovak counterpart, Jozef Stank, at their meeting on May 15.

Stank gave Tvrdík a hockey stick and a Slovak hockey jersey bearing the signatures of some of Slovakia's World Hockey Championship gold medal team, which had won the annual tournament on May 11. "It's a fantastic gift. I think the whole of Slovakia now envies me for them," Tvrdík said.
