During a recent visit to Berlin, Prime Minister Vladimír Mečiar held discussions with representatives of Sony, Slovenská Republika reported. The Japanese electronic conglomerate intends to open production facilities in Slovakia in the first or second quarter of 1996, creating 600 new jobs, the daily added.
