Hard currency reserves up

Total hard currency reserves in the banking sector up to the first half of 1995 stood at $4.2 billion. Of that total, the NBS reported hard currency reserves of $2.6 billion, $877 million more than at the end of 1994. Commercial banks held $1.58 billion of the total reserves.
