VSŽ exceeds own expectations

VSŽ, Inc. in Košice made a profit of 970 million Sk for the first eight months of this year, 177 million Sk more than planned. The profit is five times higher than the profit for all of 1993 and 40 percent higher than profit in 1994. The Board of Directors is prepared to pay double the dividends for 1995 compared to dividends for the year before.
