Deal signed for SSE energy distributor

The Slovak government and officials from the French energy firm EdF yesterday signed a deal on the sale of a 49 per cent stake in electricity distributor SSE for 158 million euros, with full payment to arrive before closing day in late August. SSE was one of three such distributors sold by the government this spring.
