Vague retail chain law passed

PARLIAMENT has approved a law on retail chains that will outlaw the charging of fees by supermarkets to suppliers to have their products carried on store shelves, and that would require retailers to stock a "proportional" amount of domestic goods.

Critics of the law say it is so vague that it invites corruption and court cases.
